Our Founder

John Michael Stacy

Our company is led by John Michael Stacy — a Vietnam combat aviator, member of the Distinguished Flying Cross Society, and a 100% permanently and totally service-connected disabled veteran of twenty years of honorable Army service (1966–1986).

John flew O-1 Bird Dog reconnaissance missions with the 220th Reconnaissance Airplane Company (the "Catkillers") in support of the 1st and 3rd Marine Divisions in I Corps, Republic of Vietnam. He conducted visual reconnaissance over North Vietnam, adjusted naval gunfire from the USS New Jersey (BB-62), and controlled close air support under combat conditions as a Tactical Air Controller, Airborne.

After leaving active duty, John spent three decades on the other side of the federal mission — leading marketing, strategy, and business development for Bombardier (Canada Air) from 1990 to 2001, serving as Vice President at Burdeshaw Associates from 2002 to 2016, and as Senior Vice President at Strategic Marketing Innovations through 2018. Across those years, he led contract win strategies for Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, BAE Systems, and Raytheon.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University and an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

Why This Business Exists

The next chapter of a fifty-year commitment.

After a lifetime of service — first flying for the country, then helping the largest defense companies in America win and deliver federal work — John saw the same problem again and again: agencies needed technology partners they could actually trust to put the mission first, not the invoice.

He started US Government Services LLC to be exactly that partner, and to create careers for the fellow veterans who already know what "mission first" means. This company is the next chapter of a fifty-year commitment to serving the United States.

Our Mission

Deliver mission-critical technology to government agencies with the discipline of military service.

We treat every federal engagement the way we were trained to treat a mission: with integrity, follow-through, and the rules followed to the letter. The work, the regulations, and the client's success come ahead of everything else.

Our Values

Three things we live by

Service Before Self

We treat your mission like our own — success comes first, ego comes never.

Compliance First

We follow every federal rule to the letter, because trust is built by doing it right.

Take Care of the Team

We hire veterans, develop our people, and stand behind our work after the contract ends.

What Makes Us Different

Capability and government fluency in one firm

Most small federal IT firms offer one or the other. We were founded on both.

SDVOSB sole-source authority

Certified SDVOSB — eligible for sole-source awards up to $5M in services under FAR 19.1406.

VA Veterans First eligible

As a certified SDVOSB, we qualify for VA "Veterans First" priority (38 U.S.C. § 8127), with sole-source services awards up to $5M under VAAR 819.7008.

DCAA-compliant accounting on day one

Our Deltek Costpoint implementation supports cost-type and T&M work that most new firms cannot accept — audit-ready before you ask.
